Open City Design Institute is a set of programs that builds capacity and network for contemporary designers and their communities.

OCDI will participate in the FUTURE SCHOOL, curated by Haewon Shin, an official program invited by the Korean Pavilion at the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale,

As a non-profit program of STUFF (Studio for Transformative Urban Forms and Fields), OCDI takes on the city with various engagement programs including job shadowing, discussions, publications, exhibitions, design competitions, and unsolicited design projections.

We believe that tomorrow is defined by the new generation of designers and their urban visions. We are committed to building this tomorrow by cross-exposure and cross-exploration of designers, their works, values, and visions. We are also interested in strengthening and constructing the city’s capacity to value and celebrate design.
